I feel sorry for ugly girls. I really do.

HA!  Sorry about the title there but it just popped into my head.  It’s from a play I was in with one of my very best friends when we were in high school  The Miss Firecracker Contest.  That was one of her lines and ever since then one of us will bring it up.  I remember laughing about that one line so much and wondering how Biff was going to be able to say it without laughing.  She managed.  Good ol’ Biffer.  Anyway, that line popped in my head because I totally had an “I’m prettier than her” moment and well, I feel sorry for ugly girls.  LOL  Seriously, I NEVER have those moments so score one for the self-esteem.

So it’s been a while since I’ve entered a real post here.  There isn’t a whole lot to tell as there hasn’t been a lot going on.  Life is pretty damn good right now.  I’m insanely happy right now and am happier now than I have been in a very very long time.  I’ve decided to keep that part of my life off of here.  It’s nobody’s business but mine.  For those of you who know and love me, just know that I am so very happy right now.

OH MY GOODNESS.  I can’t believe I haven’t told y’all about the concert I’m going to in June.  Molly and I are totally going to see Tenacious D in Nashville!  Gonna head up the day before and gp shopping with Aunt Martha and stay at the barn and then Molly and I will be seeing the D at the Ryman.  I CAN’T WAIT!  I love love love Tenacious D.

I have to share my favorite song off of their new CD.  Parents, family.  Do not listen to this song.  It’s a little raunchy and I you wont like it but I think it’s hilarious.

June last year was so very very bad.  HORRIBLE.  CooCoo died, and my engagement ended (over that and OK with it, but I still miss CooCoo.)  I’m so very very glad that I’ll be spending one of the last weekends of June with Molly at The D concert.  I thought that the next weekend would be hard on me but turns out, its gonna be a good weekend for me.  🙂  All I have to say is good girls finish first!  🙂

Just a quick lil post

Life sure is funny sometimes.  Things happen.  You think you have it all figured out then it turns out you don’t.  People come and go from your life and then there are those who are just meant to be there. They say people can’t change.  I don’t know who they are but I think they are wrong.  I know I’ve changed.  And I’m continuously proven over and over that others have changed.  And for the better.  The last time I was this content and happy I was newly engaged.  I love my life right now and I love the people in it.  One in particular.  Thank you for proving me wrong.  This funny old life will have its ups and it’s downs but as long as you keep proving me wrong it will be a beautiful journey.  I believe in you.  Don’t stop,believing. Hold on to that feeeeelin.  Sorry, I had to.  LOL.
